Rebecca Christoffel specializes in analyzing and interpreting the relationship between people and their interactions with the natural world. A human dimensions specialist, Rebecca crafts detailed surveys for client projects, as well as conducts interviews and focus groups. The results from her research lead to unique solutions for communications issues.
Before arriving at D.J. Case, Rebecca was a key team member on the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake Outreach Initiative, funded by US Environmental Protection Agency through Michigan Natural Features Inventory, MSU-Extension, in southern Michigan. Rebecca has conducted educational workshops on timber rattlesnakes in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and has extensive experience conducting education and outreach about amphibians and reptiles, as well as other environmental and natural resource issues.
Rebecca completed her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. While earning her Ph.D., Rebecca taught several courses at MSU and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in wildlife ecology.
