DJ Case developed an interactive touch-screen application and integrated portable display module to publicize the Volunteers and Invasive Plants — Learning and Lending a Hand online training program. The application features a massive 32-inch touch screen display that allows visitors to interactively explore volunteer opportunities with fictitious volunteer characters, Lou Strife and Kay Udzu. An accompanying 8-foot backdrop display is used for conferences.
For use in National Wildlife Refuge visitor centers, the touch-screen application is deployed on visitor-engaging graphic kiosks.
