Ginny Wallace is our conservation education and interpretation expert, with skills in facilitation and training, organizational development, public involvement and participatory decision-making.

During a 27-year career with the Missouri Department of Conservation, Ginny developed the agency’s interpretive plan and curriculum materials for schools. She also oversaw construction, exhibits and staffing of several nature centers. Ginny represented the agency in developing exhibits for Wonders of Wildlife: the National Fish and Wildlife Museum and Aquarium, in Springfield. She is a founding member of the Missouri Environmental Education Association.

To engage adult stewardship in natural resources, Ginny worked with University of Missouri Extension to develop Missouri Master Naturalist -- a community-based education and volunteer service program. She is past president of the Alliance of Natural Resource Outreach and Service Programs, supporting master naturalist programs nationwide.

Ginny holds a master’s in botany from Utah State University and a bachelor’s in biology from North Central College in Illinois. In 2006, she completed a master’s in public administration from the University of Missouri, specializing in organizational and community change.
