Dan Witter brings human dimensions research expertise to DJ Case
Dan Witter, a respected human dimension
researcher and survey specialist, has joined the DJ Case team as
market research director.
Witter brings more than a quarter century of
conservation and human dimensions research know-how to the table.
DJ Case unites science and communications in targeted outreach
efforts. Witter offers the ability to pinpoint and interpret
sociological and cultural factors - the basis for any successful
communications strategy.
Witter has had a long career with the
Missouri Department of Conservation, where he focused on human dimensions and survey
research. He holds a doctorate
in watershed management with a minor in sociology (University of
Arizona).
"Traditionally, fish and wildlife managers relied strictly on
biological data to guide conservation," said Witter. "Today,
managers must consider the complex and differing needs of people in
their decisions. Human dimensions work provides that
understanding."
DJ Case is founded on the idea that communications is a powerful
tool to shape conservation. Used properly, communications efforts
deliver information, change attitudes and attract constituents.
Human dimensions work is key to any communications effort.
Dan is based in Holts Summit, near Jefferson City, Missouri.
